Doula Circle Meetings

JULY

Berkeley meeting:  Friday, July 11th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Waddle and Swaddle (1677 Shattuck Ave) in Berkeley.

Postpartum meeting:  Tuesday, July 15th from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Waddle and Swaddle in Berkeley.

Hayward meeting:  Monday, July 28th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the home of Sylvia Boyd in Hayward.  Meeting topic is rebozos.  Bring your favorite rebozo to share tips and tricks about how to use them during labor.  For more info, call 510-538-3679.

AUGUST

Mt. Diablo meeting:  Wednesday, August 6th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at The Nurture Center in Lafayette.  Topic is blessingways.

Berkeley meeting:  Friday, August 8th from 11:00 to 1:00 pm at Waddle and Swaddle (1677 Shattuck Ave) in Berkeley.  Speaker will be Cherie Golant, founder and facilitator of the Pregnancy After Loss Support Group at CPMC.  She will be leading a discussion on how doulas can support families giving birth to a stillborn baby, the grief process, and how to support parents during a subsequent pregnancy after loss.

Postpartum meeting:  Tuesday, August 19th from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Waddle and Swaddle in Berkeley.

Hayward meeting:  Monday, August 25th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the home of Sylvia Boyd in Hayward.

Meetings

  • Meetings:
    The Doula Circle meets four times per month in various locations. All meetings are open to doulas who work in the East Bay.
  • Berkeley Meeting:
    Second Friday of every month, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Meeting is held at 1677 Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley.
  • Postpartum Doula Group
    Third Tuesday of each month, 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Meeting is held at 1677 Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley.
  • Hayward Meeting
    Fourth Monday of every month from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the home of Sylvia Boyd in Hayward.
  • Mt. Diablo Doula Community
    Meets the first Wednesday of each month from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at The Nurture Center (3399 Mt. Diablo Blvd) in Lafayette.
